Diving in Sulawesi is possible in the north and also around the south of the island and also further north into the Sangihe archipelago and the islands of Bankka, Sangihe and Gangga. Sulawesi is a bio-diversity hot spot benefiting from the currents and nutrients transported between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. No other place in the world can you experience the colors, the corals and the creatures in such variety and vast numbers as you can diving in Sulawesi.
Paradise dancer is a Peter Hughes boat operating out of the Lembeh strait from April to September and travelling to the more northern islands of Bankka and Sangihe to experience the best of the diversity of northern Sulawesi.
Pelagian dive yacht operates out of the stunning Wakatobi resort in south Sulwesi year round and travels to the further dive sites to experience the best of what the south has to offer. There is also the possibility of combining a stay in the stunning Wakatobi resort with a liveaboard safari on Pelagian.

The world-renowned Pelagian dive yacht was bought a couple of years ago by the Wakatobi resort and has been completely rebuilt and refurbished. She however retains the charm that peope have come to love over the years that she's been providing discerning travellers with premium cruises. She is now in tip top shape and performing splendidly as the premier liveaboard in South Sulawesi.
Having searched the world, and Indonesia, for the most pristine reefs we found the healthiest, lushes and most beautiful corals right at home in the Wakatobi region. So although we could bring Pelagian to Komodo, Raja Ampat and other areas we choose to create cruises with Wakatobi Dive Resort as a base but to the more remote sites not accessible from the resort. On a cruise aboard this luxurious and immaculately maintained yacht you'll experience a dive holiday like no other in the region.

Paradise dancer's interior style is that of a “floating boutique resort” featuring the high end amenities guests expect from one of the Dancer Fleet! All of the state rooms are larger than traditional liveaboard state rooms (at 180 sq. ft. each, more than 60% larger than an average liveaboard cabin) each cabin has private ensuite facilities and air conditioning. There isalso a 470 square foot "Master and Commander Suite " at the stern of the main deck that features a king size bed, separate sitting area with a sofa, and table with chairs that reminds guests of the "captains quarters" from the schooner design that inspired her.
Charters are 11 nights with 3-4 dives per day. From April through the September, Paradise Dancer will cruise out of North Sulawesi (Bunaken Marine Park, Bangka Straight, Sangihe Islands, and Lembeh Straight, a top critter destination).
From September to April Paradise dancer will be exploring the Raja Ampat archipelago one of the world's newest top destinations.
According to the vessel's managing partner, Guido Brink, "Our goal is to build the finest liveaboard yacht in the region and then put it in the best diving locations during the best diving season for that area."
